The 10 Keys to Personal Power
Brian Tracy
Key 1: Clarity
“Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you’re going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do.”
Key 2: Competence
“If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you’ll get.”

For this you have to be committed and have great leadership skills to get you far. Honor what you have so good things will come to those who wait. There will be times when it will get but you will get through maybe not now but in the future you will. A lot of opportunities will come your way but make sure you take them. Remember there is only one chance that you’ll get an opportunity so just make sure you choose the right one.
       Key3: Concentration
“Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself “Is this the best use of my time?” before you start anything.”
Key5: Creativity
“Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The Hallmark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most creative ask the most questions.”

I agree with this quote not only because it gives a direct thought to what is creativity, but because it’s a fact.

Key6: Consideration
“The quality of your relationships with other people will determine people will determine your success in life.”
“Develop the skills the people you need to better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc.”

“If you want to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you’ll be the best educated person in history.”
Key7: Consistency
“Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work.
Be consistent in your relationships, your family, friends, your boss, your work. Be the person that people can depend upon. That if you say you’ll do something you do it.”
Isn’t always great to be consistent and committed to what you do. In a sport or in anything you are in

Key8: Commitment
“No success is possible without commitment. The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success.”
“Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed.”

Key9: Courage
“The fear of failure is the greatest reason for failure in life.”

Courage is a when you stand up for something you believe or have integrity its takes courage to show a true character. The quote itself talks about failure, now we can’t prevent failure we all have to learn from our mistakes and learn from them. Again it takes courage to for a person to accept their own mistakes, and to learn from them. I personally feel bad for some kids who have parents and don’t let them make their own choices knowing that they will eventually learn from their mistakes, it’s hard may take time to let go but you had the courage by doing what you did.
Key 10: Confidence
“You only get confidence by doing things over and over again.”
I love this quote not only because it explains the obvious but because confidence is the key to make you succeed in life. When I was about the age of 15 my dad told me that confidence is something you should always have and treasure because confidence allows for a woman to glow because of her attitude. When you have a positive attitude people will always reach out to you no matter what. Confidence will help you to love yourself and if you don’t love yourself how would you learn to love others when you haven’t built up the confidence in your character. In the quote it says “you only get confidence by doing things over and over again” what this means is by repeating the things you already know, you’ll eventually feel confident about yourself and feel comfortable with it. Image result for courage lion wizard of oz
